Our Mission

The Bemidji Youth Basketball Association (BYBA) is a community based organization designed to provide an opportunity for all interested players to participate in an organized, competitive program based on fundamentals, skill development, and teamwork.  Our mission will work to foster self-esteem, good sportsmanship, and leadership.

2022-2023 Travel Registration and Tryouts

Tryouts for grades 6th-8th will occur on November 14th and 15th.  Grades 6th-8th  must be registered by November 11th to avoid a $100 late fee.  We will get specific times for tryouts out soon.

Tryouts for grades 3rd-5th will occur on December 19th.   Grades 3rd-5th must be registered by December 18th.

2022-2023 Travel Registration Prices

BYBA Fees (Price includes a shooting shirt for all players)

3rd Grade – $250

4th Grade$250

5th Grade$275

6th Grade$ 325

7th Grade –  $  325

8th Grade$  325

BYBA will provide Team Jersey and Shorts which must be returned at season end.  The Association furnishes uniforms for games, basketballs, and other equipment.  Parents must furnish all transportation, motel rooms, and cover other expense for out of town tournaments.  Players and parents should make a serious commitment to the Travel program and their teams to get the most out of this program.
